I choose this photo because of how important it is. It meant the end of the largest war the world had ever seen. With the fall of the Reichstag and the death of hitler the war in Europe would finally come to a end after nearly 6 years. To me it is almost hard to believe these events even happened, and these photos give life to something I would normally read out of a book.
